As experienced private pilots who have flown to destinations around Australia, both Richard and Michael know too well about landing somewhere desirable and then having to find a way to make the last leg from the airport to their destination. Although Clare Valley Aerodrome, being 14km north of the Clare township has a local taxi service, it isn’t always a convenient option. In recognition of this, a courtesy car service was established in 2021, with a Holden Barina and a Toyota Spacia 7 seater. We hope this service promotes the Clare Valley Aerodrome as the aviator’s gateway for business and world class tourism attractions. The ability to land at YCVA and knowing a vehicle awaits makes the Clare Valley experience just that much better.
